Google Nexus One Webcast



The Google announcement of the Nexus One webcast has everyone scrambling to the Google webcast and Google web store. The Nexus One press conference and Google Android press conference have everyone clamoring to find out more. What's it all about?

The Google Android Nexus One press conference was held on Tuesday morning at the Googleplex in California. They made the anticipated Google announcement about the new Google Android phone. The Nexus One, has an outside designed by HTC and an inside designed by Google.

According to CNET, Mario Queiroz of Google referred to the Nexus One as a "super phone" where the Web meets cell phone, stating, "It's an exemplar of what mobile phones can do with Android."

Today the Nexus One is available exclusively through the Google web store at www.google.com/phone. United States customers can purchase it unlocked and without service for $529. With T-Mobile service and a contract, the unlocked Nexus One is $179.
